Are you using the library’s Subject Study Guides?

One of the great things about the digital age is that we have instant access to a huge range of information. One of the frustrating things about the digital age is that we have instant access to a huge range of information – how can you find what you really need when you get over a million hits on a Google search? Finding an authoritative source can be like finding a needle in a haystack.

This is why the library has created Research & Study Guides for subjects and majors to help with just this problem. Simply follow the link for your subject, and you will find pathfinders to books, articles, websites, professional organizations, reference materials, and other resources that deal specifically with a particular subject. Still having trouble finding what you need? We’re incorporating Meebo into all the guides so you can IM an FSC librarian right from the study guide!

Your librarians are continually developing these guides with new sources as well, so check back often to find more resources for your subject.
