Get out the vote!

Though the campaign process can seem interminable, we’re actually only a few weeks away from deciding both local and national issues that affect all our lives. Your vote is your voice in the democratic process, so it’s only logical you’ll want to make an informed choice.

We’ve put together a guide with information on all the important points, including:

  • The candidates for President and their positions
  • The candidates for Senate and their positions
  • Ballot initiatives in Massachusetts
  • Voter registration information
  • Fact-checking sites

We think the fact-checking sites are particularly useful since politicians from all parties like to “cherry-pick” information and often deliberately take things out of context to paint their opponent in a harsher light. Just like we need to be active consumers of information and evaluate what we find, we need to be active voters and make sure we have the real facts, not just a quote or statistic taken out of context.

Read up! Be informed! Vote!
