Read Out for Banned Books Week!

It’s the 30th Anniversary of Banned Books Week, and all over the country people are “reading out” from books that have been challenged, banned or burned to celebrate our freedom to read. You can view authors, librarians, and readers with selections from “dangerous” books at the ALA’s Virtual Read-Out youtube channel.

Here’s Stephen Chbosky, reading a selection from his book, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (which has made the Top 10 Most Challenged List for several years running):
