Library Renovation – Sneak Preview!

Circulation Desk with view of wrap-around balcony

As many of you are already aware, the library is beginning phase 1 of its reconstruction this summer.   We will continue to be open while this occurs, with the entrance on the third floor.   While this may create a few minor hardships, the payoff should be fantastic for students and other members of the university community.

With this construction, the library will have an even more open and useful feel.  There will be an increase in the number of computer workstations and outlets, and multiple resources that should benefit everyone, including better sight-lines,  a more accessible classroom and an increase in group study space.   These images are loose mockups of what the first floor of the library will look like.

Please remember, as always, we are here to help.  During this period you will still have access to the library website,  all databases and the library catalog, inter-library loan (ILLiad), and various tutorials and research guides.

All of the librarians and staff are still available to help you with your research and you can always contact us via telephone, email or chat.
